The Red Tiger Lotus has been put to use as a traditional medicine for thousands of years. Correct use of the Red Tiger Lotus, usually brewed as a tea or smoked as a mixture, is said to bring relaxation and promote deeper sleep with the added benefit of lucid dreams. It also has some traditional uses as a powerful, natural aphrodisiac that can promote a stronger, healthier sex drive

Grown, harvested and shade-dried at an all-organic co-op in Thailand, our premium, pure, authentic Red "Tiger" Lotus (Nymphaea rubra) flowers and petals are incredibly versatile and have been used in a multitude of therapeutic ways for centuries.

Steep as Tea: Add 1-2 whole flowers to a teabag/infuser or add directly to water. Add to 6-8oz hot water and steep for 5-7 minutes. Use more or less herb or water for a stronger or lighter cup. Add milk, honey, agave, or lemon to suit your tastebuds.

• Loose by the Ounce: This herb is available by the ounce and comes in a stand-up holographic bag with a see-through front. Each pre-ground pouch has a front and descriptive back label with general info and tea instructions.
• Glass Jar: The jar holds approximately 5-7 premium large Whole Flowers and has a twist-on air-tight lid. The jar has a label with background info, tea instructions and more. Each jar comes with a wooden scooping/mixing spoon, making these jars ideal for gifting to yourself, or to the herb/tea lover in your life!
• 1KG: This bulk amount (1,000 grams) comes in non-descript, unlabeled packaging.

These flowers can range from "small" (approximately 2 inches diameter) to very large (up to 7 inches diameter!)
To help guide your decision-making, we've outlined the approximate # of flowers per package size below:
.25oz: 2-4 Flowers
.5oz: 4-6 Flowers
1oz: 8-12 Flowers
2oz: 16-20 Flowers
4oz: 30-40 Flowers
8oz: 60-80 Flowers
1KG: 250+ Flowers

Some flowers have a slight white residue on them, but do not fret! This is NOT mold! The white residue is simply dried pollen. Some flowers have this pollen on them, while others do not, due to the age of the lotus at the time of being harvested. On the flowers that do contain pollen, you'll find it more abundant directly on the stamen, but the pollen can sometimes migrate to the petals of the flower. Before being packed, each and every flower is carefully inspected to ensure premium quality and purity.
